Shirley Aquatics have a wide range of carp, orfe, rudd and tench, available to buy online or in-store. We have gold and blue orfe, with their refined colours, perfect for mixing with other fish varieties and remaining active even during the winter. 

Our small rudd are a great native fish, perfectly suited to the British weather, which will add variety to your pond. They are a smaller surface fish and therefore demand less oxygen. Golden Rudd are a smaller type of fish, which is not expected to exceed 5-6”(12-15cm). 

You can also buy tench at Shirley Aquatics, perfect for still or slow-flowing water. This shy fish lives close to the pond floor and can grow up to 35cm. It’s distinguished for the deep olive-green colour, though gold varieties have started to appear in recent years.
