Red Spider Water Lily 3 Litre
The Red Spider Water Lily is a large pond lily that has long, narrow red and often crinkled petals with orange stamens. The lily flowers from June through to September. This pond lily should be planted 30-60cm deep and will have a spread of 90-120cm. It is Ideally suited to medium and large ponds and water features due to its size.
Water Lily is an excellent choice of pond plant, adding a natural feel to any pond, contributing to a natural eco system and producing beautiful flowers every year. They prefer to be planted well under water and will send out leaves and flowers that will float on the surface. The leaves will offer your pond fish valuable cover and make them feel safe from predators as well as blocking light and thus reducing algae growth. The roots will absorb nutrients from the water column and will help keep your water quality under control as well as any algae growth.
