Pre-Packed Live Brown Silent Crickets
Crickets are the ideal food for various species of reptiles, including bearded dragons, geckos and chameleons. The smaller size is also perfect for frogs, toads and spiders. They are the main staple of many reptile and amphibians species diets.
Brown Crickets are a little smaller than the black crickets, but they don't chirp relentlessly, making them an easier live food to coexist with. They are one of the most popular live foods among hobbyists because they make feeding very easy and most species enjoy them.
These crickets will stay alive for about a month, provided that they are given food and water. They should be given insect food, but can also be given bran and rolled oats, and should be offered fruit and vegetables before feeding them to your lizard to give it a healthy vitamin rich meal. Dusting them with calcium powder will also help make them a more rounded meal of all the nutrients needed. Give water to your crickets by using Habistat H2O Balls rather than a dish of water that they may drown in.
