These cockles can also be offered to larger freshwater puffers, such as fahaka and it is an essential part of their diet as it helps them utilise their teeth, which helps to grind them down. This is the basic requirement in feeding puffers as their teeth need to be constantly worn down to prevent overgrowth. The finest fresh cockles blast frozen for freshness ideal for larger tropical and marine fish. This food is Gamma Iradiated to ensure it is pathogen and parasite free. Suitable for freshwater and marine fish. Not recommended for pond fish.

Feeding Guide: Feed your fish 1 to 2 times a day only as much as they will consume in a few minutes. Any uneaten food must be removed after the fish have finished feeding, before it has a chance to break down into harmful ammonia that could lead to water potential quality issues that would be detrimental to the wellbeing of your fish and other livestock.
