Frozen Beefheart Block
Aquadip frozen beefheart block available in a 500g or 1kg pack. This food is a staple for all types of discus, which are known for being extremely fussy and in need of a very meaty diet as it is high in protein and very nutritious. The texture is more coarse and natural than the gelatinous Stendker beefheart foods.
With its extremely high protein content it will boost the vitality and health of most aquarium fish when offered in moderation. It is also a great way to put weight and colour on other carnivorous and omnivorous species and to bring them into breeding condition. For piranhas, knife fish and some of the larger cichlid species like oscars, feed regularly as part of a healthy balanced diet to keep up with their high need for a meaty diet. For other species, less often. The contents come in the form of a slab, reducing plastic waste and giving you the maximum amount of food in minimal packaging. Smaller chunks can easily be snapped off to defrost faster.
Store in the freezer and break off what you need as and when you need it. Defrost in a cup or jug before feeding it to your fish or offer it frozen to allow the fish to peck at.
