Frozen daphnia is ideally suited for Tropical and coldwater fish. Our fresh frozen daphnia does not contain any additives, has a higher HUFA (highly unsaturated fatty acid) content than artemia and provides a diet rich in blue green algae that helps promote bright colours in your fish and is good for fancy goldfish with digestive problems. This food is Gamma irradiated to ensure it is pathogen free.
Suitable for tropical and coldwater fish.
100 gram blisters contain 20 cubes and each cube is scored so it can easily be broken into two cubes! We also stock live daphnia bags as an even fresher option.
Feeding Guide: Feed your fish 1 to 2 times a day only as much as they will consume in a few minutes. Any uneaten food must be removed after the fish have finished feeding, before it has a chance to break down into harmful ammonia that could lead to water potential quality issues that would be detrimental to the wellbeing of your fish and other livestock.
