The Court Jester Goby is a small delicate fish that's ideally suited to small reef set ups. The aquarium must be mature with plenty of live rock and sand to provide feeding opportunities. The mature sand will contain the microscopic foods required by this small fish and the rock will help grow filamentous algae for the fish to browse.
Tank mates should be other small peaceful species. Avoid any large aggressive fish as they will cause the gobies to hide and prevent them from feeding. As with most marine species, these fish do not appreciate the company of their own kind and are best kept as a solo specimen.
Like all gobies, this species requires for the aquarium to have a lid or a jump guard as they are accomplished jumpers
Food can be offered in the form of mysis, brine shrimp, chopped krill and other high protein foods.
