Live Dubia Cockroaches Reptile Food
Feeder roaches are also known as Dubia cockroaches are quickly becoming a very popular livefood for a wide range of reptiles, amphibians and birds. They are non- infesting in nature, possess excellent nutritional qualities and are easy to care for with a long shelf life. Feeder roaches are supplied in a variety of sizes to suit different sized animals. They are packed with protein for a meatier diet.
The benefits of dubia cockroaches as reptile food is that they are substantially higher in protein than other cockroaches, but low in indigestible chitin. They are odourless, silent and not particularly good climbers, so they're far less likely to escape from the enclosure.
These roaches will stay alive for an incredibly long time without food or water, but we still recommend that they are kept fed and watered to gut load them with additional nutrients and keep them healthy. Though they will eat just about anything offered, we recommend giving them fruit and vegetables.
