Colonel A.J Welch Water Lily is a tall yellow star shaped bloom which will produce flowers in cooler months and has a slight scent. Maximum planting depth: 100cm in a sunny position. Maximum spread: 90cm Suitable for: small to medium ponds. Supplied in a 3 litre basket, just add additional potting compost as needed and top off with some pea gravel. We also recommend you use one Laguna Fertilliser Spike per lily to aid growth.

Water Lily is an excellent choice of pond plant, adding a natural feel to any pond, contributing to a natural eco system and producing beautiful flowers every year. They prefer to be planted well under water and will send out leaves and flowers that will float on the surface. The leaves will offer your pond fish valuable cover and make them feel safe from predators as well as blocking light and thus reducing algae growth. The roots will absorb nutrients from the water column and will help keep your water quality under control as well as any algae growth.
