Terms & Conditions
We really appreciate every order we receive from you and hope our relationship as your premier aquatic and reptile supplier continues for many years to come. By placing an order with us either online, by fax or verbally you are accepting the following terms and conditions. Please note that they do not affect your statutory rights.
We make every effort to ensure that the items placed on the website are kept in stock. However we cannot guarantee that at the time you place an order for an item, it will be in stock. This may be as a result of increased demand during promotional phases or that manufacturers have been out of stock of this item. We will make every effort to get the item in to stock as soon as we can but any information given with regards to due dates will only be an estimation. You have the right to cancel the order should the delivery estimate not be satisfactory but we cannot guarantee the arrival of such items and will not be held responsible for any circumstances resulting from a product failing to meet its estimated delivery point.
Whilst we do endeavour to offer accurate and up to date information on our web site we will not be responsible for the compatibility of items within a single order or as part of subsequent orders. We respectfully request that you thoroughly check that any items you order are compatible and suitable for their intended purpose.
All prices shown on our web site are inclusive of V.A.T but do not include any delivery charges. The cost of delivery will be clearly shown before you confirm the order.
We confirm that the product prices advertised at the time you place the order are accurate (failing any obvious computer error) and that the price advertised is the price you will pay. However we reserve the right to amend these prices in accordance with manufacturers price increases or changes in tax levels.
In the case of overseas orders we also reserve the right to amend advertised delivery charges. You will be notified of any change in price with your order at which point you are entitled to cancel the order or proceed to completion.
For a speedier service we prefer you pay online with either credit or debit card. We will however be happy to accept payment over the phone with such cards as well as cheques or postal orders. If you intend to send a cheque in for payment then we will need to allow seven working days for the cheque to clear before dispatching the goods. Should the cheque clear sooner then we will dispatch the goods at an earlier time.
Providing Accurate Information
At Shirley Aquatics we make every effort to ensure the information we put on our web site is accurate and up to date. However as some information is derived from third party organisations such as manufacturers and suppliers we cannot guarantee the information is accurate beyond question. We will not be liable to you/or any third party for any consequential or incidental damages (including, but not limited to, loss of revenue, loss of profits, wasted expenditure, loss of privacy and loss of data) whatsoever that arise out of or are related to the use of this website and/or any information contained therein. This also applies to information offered by Shirley Aquatics or it’s staff.
Please make sure you are fully aware of the guarantee terms of products you purchase from us. Whilst we distribute such products, the guarantee is issued by the manufacturer and may contain certain stipulations or may not even carry a guarantee. We will up hold the conditions of such guarantees but will not be able to act in the case of an item falling out of its guarantee criteria.
