Shirley Aquatics Store Update – Covid-19
As an essential business we will remain open and we will continue to ensure the safety of our customers and team members.
Our opening hours are Monday – Saturday 9am – 5pm, Sunday 10am-4pm.
On top of our current restrictions we will now be limiting the number of people allowed into the store as a whole to keep our customers and team as safe as possible.
We ask that only one person from each household enters our store at one time, keeping to a maximum of 3 people per household (including children) where necessary.
We also ask that you follow government guidelines and wear a face covering at all times while in our store unless you have an exemption.
Lanyards and Exemption Cards are not compulsory but they are most welcome to us as retailers. Doing this saves you the inconvenience of being asked why you aren’t wearing a face covering when we have a legal responsibility to ensure people are wearing face coverings in our store (unless exempt). We are trying very hard to keep everyone safe and ideally happy whilst with us, and we appreciate any help and cooperation you can give us during these challenging times.
Customers may need to wait in line when necessary for our livestock sections so we can monitor the number of customers and staff in these areas at one time.
Our busiest times in store are between 2pm and 4pm so we recommend avoiding these times to keep numbers down and reduce your time in our queues.
We also ask everyone to be mindful and try to keep a safe distance wherever possible to protect themselves and others.
Our Aquarium Showroom is open for browsing however our Shark Tank Sofa is not available for use right now.
Our Reptile Room is open for essentials. A member of staff will help you with any specific issues or enquiries.
Our mail order service and Click and Collect service are still running as usual however we ask customers to be patient with certain orders as there may be delays on some products that need to be ordered into store due to suppliers being out of stock. If you have any issues or queries regarding please get in touch.
You can also place orders via phone and we can either arrange for delivery or a pick up point for you to collect your order. Due to the current demand we are trying our best to get orders out to people as soon as possible.
Those orders placed with next day delivery will be put on as such however we cannot guarantee that your order will be with you on the next working day due to the current demand we and courier companies are experiencing. We will update you as much as we can throughout the delivery process.
