AxoNew and AxoNew Adult is an excellent food for axolotl but also other aquatic newts and frogs, e.g claw frogs. The pellets sink and dissolve only slowly to not unnecessarily pollute the water. With the new AxoNew Adult it was considered that adults have lower nutrient requirements as juveniles. AxoNew is designed as main diet and is use by several successful axolotl breeders. To guarantee a balanced diet we recommend offering other food, e.g. frozen food like mosquito larvae and mussel meat, Lucky Reptile Herp Diner canned food and also dried and live earthworms.
Feed declaration AxoNeW mixed feed for adult axolotls, larger newts and frogs Feeding recommendation: Feed as much as the animals can eat in 10 minutes every day. Remove uneaten food immediately. Due to the balanced and specially coordinated composition of the ingredients, this food is suitable as a main food. In combination with Lucky Reptile Herp Diner canned food, e.g. mealworms or crickets, frozen food, such as red bloodworms or earthworms, and live food, optimal feeding is achieved.
