These snakes grow between 8 -10 ft and can live over 30years!
The common boas are terrestrial snakes so require a long enclosure with branches and hides.
They require a hot spot of 28 degrees celsius and though they dont need a UVB there are benefits to adding one.
It is best to keep snakes solitary.
Diet consists of defrosted mammals such as mice, rats and rabbits.
A large water dish should be available for them to drink from and bathe in.
