The species of reptile you own will dictate how much and what you should be feeding, for example:
A hatchling bearded dragon – omnivore:
- Live insects up to 10 per portion 4-5 times per week
- Leafy greens and salad 1 per week
- Fruit or flower treat 1 feed per week
An adult bearded dragon (12 months plus) – omnivore:
- Live insects 4-8 per portion 1-2 times weekly
- Leafy greens and salad 2-3 times a week
- Fruit or flower treat 1 feed per week
Madagascan giant day gecko – omnivore:
- Prepared foods e.g., Repashy 2-3 times per week
- Live insects 2-3 per portion 1 feed per week
- Mashed fruit treat 1 feed per week
Horsefield tortoise – herbivore:
- Leafy greens, flowers and salad 4-5 times per week
- Vegetables (mixed with leafy greens) 2-3 times per week
- Fruit treat 1 feed per week
Red foot tortoise – omnivore:
- Leafy greens, flowers and fruit 3-4 times per week
- Vegetables (mixed with greens and fruit) 1-2 times per week
- Pinkie mouse or insect treat 1 feed per week
Leopard gecko – insectivore:
- Live insects 3-4 times a week
Royal python – carnivore:
- Appropriate sized mouse, rat or other rodent prey fed once every 7-14 days
