At Shirley Aquatics, we have made a commitment to ourselves and our customer to use as many eco-friendly and recyclable materials as possible to help preserve our sea life.
Like many companies we are looking for ways to reduce the use of plastics and support suppliers and products that aim to do the same. There are too many to name here, but one example is Dr David Pool’s FishScience products. He has taken a stance on the ingredients used in his FishScience foods, the main ingredient is insect meal, which, unlike fish meal is completely sustainable and has little impact on the environment. Plus eating insects is what a lot of fish do best so its second nature to them! We love it and your fish will love it!

We live in wonderful times, information is coming at us from all directions, unfortunately the wealth of information available for fish keeping especially can be confusing, contradictory and overwhelming.
